A July 15 Planning Board agenda still lists Laura Lourenco as an alternate even though Wilton’s townwide boards directory places her under the Town Board and the July 2 Town Board agenda included a Planning Board resignation item naming her.
Wilton’s public records still do not line up on Laura Lourenco’s status ahead of the July 15 Planning Board meeting.
A newly posted July 15, 2026 Planning Board agenda still lists Laura Lourenco as a Planning Board alternate.
That does not match other town records.
Wilton’s townwide Boards/Committees directory places Laura Lourenco under the Town Board. And the July 2 Town Board agenda included a motion item labeled “Resignation-Wilton Planning Board Laura Kavanaugh Lourenco.”
The town’s separate Planning Board Board Members page also continues to list Lourenco.
As of this check, Wilton’s standard meeting-minutes page still did not show July 2 Town Board minutes. Without those minutes, a posted resolution, or a corrected roster, residents using the town website cannot tell from the usual records whether a Planning Board resignation was accepted, withdrawn, or reflected somewhere else in error.
This matters in a practical way. Board rosters are how residents confirm who may sit on land-use matters and which official pages to trust for membership information.
The next records most likely to clarify the issue are the posted July 2 Town Board minutes or corrections to the Planning Board and townwide boards pages.
