Wilton taxpayers now have an official Saratoga Springs budget total and levy figure to add to the district-by-district picture, but current town-specific rate posting is still uneven across the three school districts serving Wilton.
Saratoga Springs City School District has posted official 2026-27 budget vote results, giving Wilton taxpayers another confirmed school-budget number to work with, but the district’s tax-information page still shows 2025-26 Wilton school and library rates.
The Saratoga Springs City School District says voters approved a $166,095,679 budget for 2026-27 on May 19, 2026. A related district budget page says the spending plan carried a 3.85% tax levy increase and that voters also approved a bus bond proposition.
For Wilton taxpayers, the more practical page is still behind. Saratoga’s tax-information page continues to list 2025-26 school and library tax rates for Wilton parcels, rather than 2026-27 figures.
That leaves Wilton residents with a mixed picture across the three districts that serve parts of town:
- South Glens Falls has already posted a 2026-27 estimated Wilton rate of $18.623 per $1,000 of assessed value.
- Schuylerville now clearly shows that voters passed its $40.8 million budget with a 2.99% levy increase, but its Tax & STAR page still centers on 2025 school tax bills rather than 2026-27 town-specific rates.
- Saratoga Springs now has an official budget-results page for 2026-27, but its Wilton-facing tax page remains on last year’s rate table.
So the public record is better than it was earlier this month, but it is still not consistent. Wilton homeowners can now compare approved budgets and levy changes across all three districts more easily than they can compare current town-specific school-tax rates.
The next records to watch are each district’s late-summer tax-rate updates, especially Saratoga Springs and Schuylerville pages that directly affect Wilton parcels.
