Updated June 11, 2026 with new reporting. The project now has a newly posted June 17 public hearing and agenda item, plus a subdivision drawing accessible from the town site.

Town website updates now point to a June 17 public hearing and agenda item for the Ballard Road subdivision after the project’s variance stage moved through the ZBA in April.

Wilton’s Planning Board page now links to a June 17, 2026 public hearing and agenda item for the Wilton Service Center subdivision at 215 Ballard Road, the next visible step in the three-lot commercial split previously sent to the Zoning Board of Appeals for variances.

Wilton has posted a new public-facing sign that the Wilton Service Center subdivision is moving to its next Planning Board step.

By June 10, the Planning Board page’s recent-updates section included three related entries:

  • Wilton Service Center – Subdivision
  • Public Hearing – Wilton Service Center Subdivision – 6/17/26
  • Planning Board Agenda (06/17/26) – Public Hearing – Wilton Service Center

That points to a June 17, 2026 hearing for the proposal at 215 Ballard Road.

Earlier 2026 records showed the project as a 22.61-acre, three-lot commercial subdivision. The April 15 Planning Board minutes say the board gave a favorable recommendation to the ZBA for the needed area variances. Draft April 23 ZBA minutes then recorded approval of the related setback relief for the three parcels.

The newly linked subdivision drawing adds a little more detail to the site layout. It labels:

  • Lot A at about 15.05 acres
  • Lot B at about 5.74 acres
  • Lot C at about 1.82 acres

The plan also labels a proposed 50-foot-wide water and sewer easement and a proposed ingress/egress easement.

This does not look like a brand-new project. It looks like the next hearing step for a subdivision already covered at the variance stage. The June 17 meeting should offer the next public record on whether the lot split advances further through Planning Board review.
