Updated September 01, 2026 with new reporting. This directly resolves the missing-written-minutes problem described in the Aug. 16 published story and is better handled as an update than as a separate standalone post.

The written record for Wilton’s Aug. 6 Town Board meeting now appears on the town’s minutes listings, closing the gap noted in an earlier site review.

Wilton’s Town Board minutes page now lists written minutes for the Aug. 6, 2026 meeting, resolving the specific gap that had left residents with July 2 as the latest posted written record.

Wilton has posted written minutes for its Aug. 6, 2026 Town Board meeting.

As checked Sept. 1, the Town Board minutes listing shows 06-Aug-2026 as the most recent written Town Board entry. The Town Board video archive also continues to list the Aug. 6 meeting online.

That closes the specific record gap documented in an earlier review, when the town’s written Town Board minutes still stopped at July 2 even though the Aug. 6 meeting video had already been posted.

The practical effect is simple: residents now have an official written record to review motions and actions from Aug. 6 without relying only on the video archive.

The next records to watch are any materials tied to the Aug. 31 emergency Town Board meeting and the written record from the board’s next regular meeting on Sept. 3.
