A LOCAL LAW ADDING CHAPTER 41 TO THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF WILTON, ENTITLED "AUTOMATED LICENSE PLATE READER SYSTEMS"

The purpose of this Chapter is therefore to prohibit systematic automated license plate recognition and vehicle-location surveillance within the Town while preserving the lawful use of ordinary security cameras and narrowly tailored access-control systems that do not create or contribute to databases tracking vehicles traveling through the community.
