Town Board finally put short-term rentals on the record

Newly surfaced Feb. 5 Town Board minutes show officials saying Wilton had at least 75 short-term rentals around 2020, that current town code only allows rentals longer than 60 days, and that the board may wait for a state/county registry before writing its own rules. (townofwilton.ny.gov)
