Discussion: Jail Construction – Jeff Brown, County Sheriff Discussions took place regarding the need for jail construction due to the facility’s 40- year-old, outdated infrastructure and overcrowding. A minor contract will be secured to conduct a comprehensive RFP process to determine the best path forward, whether through renovation, an addition to the existing building, or construction of a new facility.
