Wilton’s Requests for Bids and Proposals page says the town’s current active requests are shown there. But as of Sept. 22, the page did not directly list the town’s live automatic-door solicitation. Instead, it only offered a link to view all legal notices.
The active bid is public. It appears on the town’s Legal Notices page and on a separate notice page titled Notice to Bidders – Automatic Doors.
That notice, dated Sept. 17, seeks bids for automatic door operators, wireless bollards and wireless buttons at Gavin Park, the Senior Center, the Highway Department, Town Court and Town Hall. Bids are due by 11 a.m. on Sept. 30, 2026.
What the page setup means
A bidder or resident starting from the page specifically labeled for current bids has to click through to another page to find the live notice. That is not the same as the bid being hidden; it is public on the site. But it is also not presented on the bid page itself despite the page’s own description.
For vendors watching deadlines, that extra step matters most while the solicitation is still open.
