The town’s main Building Department and townwide staff pages now match each other, but Marcus Hart’s individual profile still identifies him as Building Inspector and both building-job postings remain live.
Wilton has removed Marcus Hart from its main Building Department staff page and townwide staff directory, but as of July 9 his individual staff profile remained online and the town still advertised openings for both Building Inspector and Assistant Building Inspector.
Wilton’s public staffing picture for the Building Department is clearer than it was a week ago, but it is not fully cleaned up.
The Building Department staff page now lists John Herlihy as Senior Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Officer, along with clerks Lisa Closson and Brigit McElroy. The townwide staff directory shows the same building-staff lineup.
The remaining conflict is on other pages. Marcus Hart’s individual staff profile still identifies him as Building Inspector, and the town’s jobs page still advertises immediate openings for both Building Inspector and Assistant Building Inspector.
For residents, that means the main staff lists are now more useful than they were when this issue was first reported. But people checking older or separate pages can still get a mixed picture of who currently holds the Building Inspector title and whether both building positions remain vacant.
The next useful records are updated staffing pages that either remove or relabel Hart’s profile and any Town Board record that documents a permanent hiring decision.
